2. Order Processing, Cut-Off & Transit Timelines
- Daily Order Cut-Off Time: 2:00 PM (GMT / London Time; BST during daylight saving hours). Orders submitted after 2:00 PM will commence depot handling on the following business morning.
- Handling & Packaging Period: 1 to 2 business days (Monday through Friday). Furniture units and mirrors undergo structural integrity checks, receive reinforced corner padding, and are booked for collection.

- Total Estimated Delivery Time: 5 to 9 business days from your order confirmation date.
3. Weekend & UK Bank Holiday Clause
Please note that Saturdays, Sundays, and UK Public Holidays (Bank Holidays) are not classified as operational working days. Orders confirmed during weekends or statutory national holidays will begin processing on the following working business day, with transit schedules adjusting accordingly.
4. Consignment Tracking
The moment your bathroom furniture consignment leaves our dispatch facility, our system automatically emails you a dispatch notice containing your active parcel tracking link.
Returns & Refunds Policy
We want you to select bathroom furniture and smart mirrors with total confidence. If a vanity unit, mirror cabinet, or accessory does not fit your room measurements or renovation design, our 30-day UK return process is simple, transparent, and completely free.
1. 30-Day Return Window
You have 30 calendar days from the date your consignment is marked as delivered by the courier to request a return.
2. Eligible Return Condition & Statutory Consumer Rights
- General Return Condition: To qualify for a voluntary return within our 30-day window, items must be in clean, undamaged condition, repacked securely in their original protective cartons with all brackets, mounting templates, hardware packs, and instruction manuals included.
- Installation Notice: Vanity units, mirrors, and shower niches must not have been permanently plumbed in, silicone-sealed, hardwired, or bonded to walls beyond temporary dry inspection to verify sizing.
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory cancellation and refund rights under applicable United Kingdom consumer protection law (including the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015). UK customers maintain the statutory right to cancel their purchase within 14 days of receipt in accordance with governing UK legislation.
3. How to Use Your Prepaid Return Label (Step-by-Step Mail Return)
To eliminate return hassle, a pre-printed, prepaid return shipping label is already enclosed inside your delivery parcel. There are zero return carriage charges and zero restocking fees.
- Repack the Bathroom Item: Carefully place the brand-new, uninstalled item back into its original carton with all protective foam inserts, corner guards, and components.
- Apply the Included Return Label: Firmly seal the carton with heavy-duty packaging tape. Affix the prepaid return shipping label clearly onto the outer flat face of the package, ensuring it completely conceals or replaces the original delivery label.
- Drop Off at Carrier Station: Take your package to the nearest post office branch or designated courier collection point indicated on the label. Always obtain and retain a proof of postage receipt.
- Return Shipping Cost: £0.00 (Completely Free).
- Restocking Surcharge: Zero / No Cost (£0.00).
- Return Route: By mail only.
4. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Items Received
We pack glass mirrors and ceramic components in reinforced, drop-tested packaging, but transit accidents can occasionally happen. If a mirror arrives cracked, an electrical fitting proves defective, or if an incorrect model was dispatched:
- Reporting Period: Please inspect your parcel upon arrival and inform our support team within 48 hours of receipt (or within 7 days at the latest).
- Details Required: Email support@thebathroom-co.com with your Order Number, a brief summary of the fault, and clear photos showing the damaged glass, defect, or the incorrect packaging label.
- Our Immediate Resolution: We will review your claim immediately and provide a free replacement part, a full replacement order, or a 100% full refund at no additional cost to you. You will never be asked to pay return carriage for transit-damaged or incorrectly supplied goods.
5. Depot Inspection & Refund Settlement
- Depot Inspection: Returned items are inspected at our warehouse within 3 business days of delivery.
- Refund Method: Approved refunds are credited directly back to your original payment card (Visa or Mastercard).
- Settlement Currency: Processed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP / £). Please allow standard card clearing periods (typically 3–5 working days depending on your bank) for the transaction to reflect in your account.
